I guess today is "someday"!

Hello there!  I spent a good part of this morning sorting through my closet yet again to rid it of clothes that are now too big for me.  Love that feeling, but I'm not a huge fan of clothes shopping.  But I've been putting it off for too long and really need to get out there and buy some new outfits.

So here's another pile of clothes heading to Goodwill sometime this week:

I need to say goodbye to these below as well.  I wrote about them here: Well hello my favorite pants!

I waited so long to finally fit back into these and then only wore them once or twice before they were then too big!  WOOHOO!  I do hate to see them go, but I have to be happy that I'm getting smaller and can finally have a chance to add some new clothes to my closet.

These pants below?  These are the jeans I wore just a little over one year ago.  I remember at that time that I felt like there were painted on my body.  They had gotten so tight and were so uncomfortable every time I wore them.  One day I had just had enough and decided then to finally get control of my weight issue and make some better decisions about my life and health.  But I saved these jeans - I mean I know in my head that I have lost almost 50 pounds (so close, but still not there yet, topic for another post), and I know when buying new clothes they are smaller and smaller each time, but to actually see what I used to wear on my new body now - WOW - just really made my day perfect!  These will not be going to Goodwill.  I am holding on to these to always remind me where I came from and how hard this journey was.  I do NOT ever want to go back there and these pants will remind me of just that.

These black pants below?  They have been in my cedar chest for quite some time, just waiting for me to fit into them and for them to be worn.  I've tried them on over the past year and have always just said "someday" as I tried to get them to zip and button.  Each time I've tried they were still too small.  I swear last time I tried I couldn't even get the button to get near the buttonhole.  Today though - today was that "someday".  Not only did they zip and button, but they zipped and buttoned comfortably !  I love believing in "someday"!!!!

Have a good one everybody!
